Is CoHo the Right Vibe for You? (And Why That Matters to Us)

When people first ask about CoHo, one of the first things I say is, “Come try it out—you’ll know if it’s your vibe, and if it’s not, that’s totally okay.” It’s been five amazing years since we opened our doors, and one thing I know for sure: we’re not just looking to fill every desk. CoHo is a place where ambitious, kind people can come together, work, and thrive. For that to happen, we need members who feel like they truly belong here.

Why “Fit” is More Important than Just “Seats”

I don’t see CoHo as just a space to work—it’s a community built on connection, shared values, and real relationships that help our members succeed. We have a vibe that isn’t for everyone, and honestly, that’s by design. Some people may prefer a more corporate, polished coworking space, and if that’s what they’re after, I wholeheartedly encourage them to explore it. But at CoHo, we prioritize connection, collaboration, and a bit of fun. It’s a place where people come as they are and build relationships that genuinely impact their businesses and lives.

People come to CoHo not just for a desk, but to make connections that can drive their businesses forward, inspire fresh ideas, and ultimately help them reach new levels of success. Here, you’ll find members who care about each other’s goals, who celebrate wins, and who are more than willing to share advice, collaborate on projects, and offer support. It’s this kind of environment that makes work feel both productive and enjoyable—a space where people can be successful by being part of something bigger than themselves.

Real Stories from Our Members: When You Find “Your Place,” You Just Know

Over the years, I’ve watched people come through our doors, feel the energy, and immediately know they’ve found the right place. Here are a few stories that always remind me why “fit” and connection matter so much:

  • Jocelyn, a property manager from Boston, came for a trial day and ended it with a smile that said everything. “I’m going to stay here for a long time,” she told me, and it wasn’t long before she became a fixture of the CoHo community. Jocelyn is one of those people who brings a calm, steady energy to the space, and she often tells me, “I’m just so happy to be here.” Beyond the happiness, it’s the professional support and friendships she’s built here that make CoHo her go-to space to work and grow her business.

  • Miriam splits her time between Boston and New Hampshire, but the moment she’s back in New Hampshire, my inbox lights up: “Can I come back?!” she’ll write. Miriam actually tried out another coworking space before finding CoHo, but it didn’t feel right for her. It was a little too quiet, too corporate, and—well, to use her words—“empty.” Here, she found a place with personality and friendly faces, and a network of people she can rely on. We’re always excited to have her back when she’s in town, and I know the friendships she’s built here make CoHo a meaningful part of her year, every year.

  • Then there’s Mark, who used to be a regular but had to move out of town. He’s no longer a monthly member, but every time he’s back in town, he makes it a point to stop by CoHo. It’s like a mini homecoming—he’ll catch up with the friends he made here, share stories about his kids, and we’ll all get a good laugh as he talks about his favorite college teams. For Mark, CoHo is more than just a workspace; it’s a network of colleagues who’ve become friends, and these connections keep him coming back, even from hundreds of miles away.

A Space for Humans, Not Just “Memberships”

It’s not unusual for me to encourage prospective members to try CoHo before committing. I want people to feel great about being here because when they do, they become part of a community, not just a “membership count.” Some people may self-select out if they’re looking for a more high tech, corporate environment—and that’s fine! The people who thrive here are the ones who appreciate a balance of professionalism and warmth, who bring their whole selves to work and who enjoy being around other humans who are doing the same.

At CoHo, we are humans first, coworkers second. And our members are here because they want more than just a transactional workspace. They’re looking for connections that matter, the kind of relationships that will support them as they build and grow their businesses. From shared lunches to collaborative brainstorming sessions, the people who gather here understand the value of working alongside others who genuinely care about their success. It’s in those connections that real growth happens, and it’s exactly why I care so much about finding the right fit for each person.

Come See for Yourself

At the end of the day, I just want people to find the right place for them, whether it’s here or somewhere else. For the right people, CoHo is a place where work feels natural, where connections grow, and where community is real. If you think that could be you, come give us a try! You’ll know if it’s the right fit, and if it is, I can’t wait to welcome you into the CoHo community—a space where you can not only work but truly connect, succeed, and thrive.
