More Than a Desk: How CoHo Members Show Up for Each Other

Picture this: it’s the morning of a big conference. You’re in the spotlight, nerves excitedly humming like a powerline, and your mind is juggling 10,000 things—your presentation, booth setup, and hoping you remembered to pack business cards. That was Phil M., one of our incredible members, this past September at the AI Community Conference in Boston. But what happened that day was more than Phil expected—and a testament to what makes CoHo more than just a coworking space.

As Phil prepped for his big day, his CoHo community had his back in the most beautiful ways.

One member sent him a voice note full of encouragement—essentially the “you’ve got this” pep talk we all need before stepping into a high-stakes situation.

Another member texted him with a heartfelt good luck message.

And then it gets even better: three CoHo members showed up to volunteer at his booth and make sure his brand was shining bright.

And if that wasn’t enough? Another member attended the event as a guest, simply to cheer him on.

Let’s pause for a moment: this is the magic of CoHo. It’s not just about finding an office or a desk space where the Wi-Fi actually works (although, yes, we absolutely have that covered). It’s about finding people—humans who care, who root for you, and who show up when it matters most.

Phil’s story perfectly captures why we believe that coworking is the cure to the WFH loneliness epidemic. When you work from home, it’s easy to feel disconnected, like you’re navigating your career all on your own. But at CoHo, you’re never alone. Your wins are celebrated, your challenges are shared, and your dreams are supported—not just within the walls of our space but well beyond them.

So if you’re still wondering whether joining CoHo is worth it, here’s the truth: you’re not just getting a desk. You’re getting a squad—the kind of people who send you texts, volunteer at your events, and cheer from the sidelines while you chase big goals.

And honestly? That’s priceless.
